honestly the walls on this are actually high enough to matter. my old box was supposed to have high sides but litter still ended up all over the floor. this one actually contains it and the scoop feels solid, not like those flimsy plastic ones that break on the first use.
Solid and easy to clean. Happy I went with this over a cheaper option.
I was a little worried stainless steel would be harder to clean than I expected, but it is honestly the easiest thing to wipe down. Nothing sticks, nothing stains. Way simpler than dealing with my old plastic boxes that would hold onto smells no matter what I did.
the steel feels genuinely sturdy, not thin or bendy. When I pick it up to clean it there is no flexing or creaking like I got with cheaper options. Feels like something that will actually last a while rather than cracking or warping.

The high walls on this are genuinely useful. My cat likes to turn around a lot before doing his business and used to send litter flying, but the walls catch most of it now. Nice to not find litter across the bathroom floor every morning.
Very pleased with this. The size is generous, the build quality is better than I expected, and having two means I always have a clean one ready. It has been working great since I got it.
Told my sister to grab one of these because she kept complaining that her plastic box warped and stained after a few months. She got it, and now she texts me saying she wishes she switched sooner. The high walls are a bonus too since her cat kicks litter everywhere.
